Westbound I-44 near Conway is finally open after a tractor-trailer fire forced crews to close the interstate.
The tractor-trailer caught fire before 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, closing westbound I-44 around the 110 mile marker near Conway.
Firefighters fought the flames, trying to put out the burning tractor-trailer.
Crews opened up one lane of traffic just before 4 p.m.
Both lanes reopened after 4 p.m.
The trailer has been pushed off the road.
Crews plan to come back and get it later.
