The roads and highways across the Ozarks are in much better shape this afternoon.
MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map shows I-44, I-49, Highway 60, Highway 65, Highway 13 and other roads as clear.

Road and highways across the Ozarks are in better shape today.
MoDOT District Maintenance Engineer Darin Hamelink says even though the roads are clear, there still could be ice on the side and in the turning lanes.
Crews will be out all day making sure lower volume roads and intersections are treated.
Hamelink says the foretasted sunshine today will help melt the ice. He is urging drivers to take it slow and watch out for slick spots.
MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map shows I-44 and I-49 as clear. Highway 60 and Highway 65 are shown as mostly clear.
The only trouble spot is going to be Highway 13 which is shown as partially covered.
