Murder charges have been filed against the mother of a disabled 14-year-old girl who died in a house fire in Vichy.
The Maries County Prosecutor has charged Tracy Ellis with second-degree murder and endangering the welfare of a child.
The girl’s older brother called 911 Sunday saying his sister was trapped inside the burning mobile home.
Ellis had gone to work when the fire started.
