A lightning strike started a house fire near the Stone and Taney County line this morning.
Western Taney County Firefighters say the fire on Idylwild Drive heavily damaged the second floor of the home.
No one was home when the fire started.
Someone who lived across the lake heard the strike and was able to find the house and call 911.
There were no injuries.
