Springfield-based Convoy of Hope is assembling to help people living in the path of Hurricane Dorian.
Spokesman Jeff Nene says Dorian has been a hard hurricane to figure out with where it will hit exactly.
Nene says they have some partners in the Bahamas that will be helping people.
Convoy of Hope will be providing the normal things like food, water, masks, and tarps.
He says cash donations are the best way of helping because they can get their products for free and the money go towards their trucks that are heading their and back to those affected areas as quickly as possible.
