One man is in the hospital and another is on the run after an early morning shooting in Springfield.
Police say a son and his father were sitting in a car in the 1100 block of North Glenstone Ave. just before 3 a.m. when a man approached the car.
The man then shot the son in the torso while he was sitting in the driver’s seat.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is now in stable condition.
Officers say they believe the victim and the shooter know each other. No one has been arrested.
