Firefighters say a house in north Springfield is badly damaged after a fire Thursday morning.
Crews were called to the 1400 block of Blaine, between Fremont and Weller in Springfield around 7:30 a.m.
A woman living there had made it out of the house in time. Firefighters say they didn’t hear any smoke alarms going off when they arrived.
Crews are still searching for what caused the fire.
