Our first widespread frost of the fall is set to settle in late Friday evening through Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service says temperatures will drop into the lower 30’s over a large portion of the Ozarks, with some areas even hitting the upper 20’s.
The low temps will combine with a clearing sky and light winds will lead to frost development.
Forecasters say the frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
A frost advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday.
