A man has been found guilty of defrauding an elderly woman in a case recently decided in Polk County.
Timothy Mundy was accused of taking $6,250 dollars from an elderly woman in Brighton to install a roof and then leaving with the money and never coming back.
He has been convicted of one count of financial exploitation and two counts of unlawful merchandising practices.
Attorney General Eric Schmitt commented that Mundy’s behavior was “unacceptable.”
Mundy’s sentencing trial is set for January 17th, 2020.
