A woman from Grovespring is dead after attempting to drive through a low water crossing in Laclede County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 53 year-old Kristi Yates died trying to swim to shore. The incident happened in Laclede County on Saturday around 1 in the afternoon.
She has been taken to a funeral home in Lebanon. Her next of kin have been notified
