The University of Missouri says it is now tracking all new students on campus via its new app tracking program.
The University implemented the program through an app to see if students were attending class.
It’s a test expansion of a program Mizzou has used for years to track attendance for freshman student athletes and athletes who are in academic trouble.
The program has elicited several responses that the app is a serious overreach into student privacy.
Supporters say it will encourage attendance.
