Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon, but it looks like most of the bad weather should be across central Missouri.
The National Weather Service says golf ball size hail, 60 mile per hour winds, and an isolated tornado are the biggest threats, mainly along and north of Highway 54.
Much of southwest Missouri is under a marginal risk for severe weather, with a slight risk in the Lebanon area and an enhanced risk from Rolla toward Jefferson City.
