A powerful cold front has brought strong to severe thunderstorms to parts of the Ozarks late Sunday afternoon and early evening.
The National Weather Service says storms with strong winds brought down power lines and tree branches from Lebanon to Preston, with several power outages reported around Bennett Springs State Park.
Saddlebrooke, Bolivar, Lebanon, and parts of Wright County are among the areas where we received reports of no electricity.
By early Sunday evening, White River Valley Electric reported power outages just northwest of Saddlebrooke.
More than 700 White River Valley Electric customers in Christian County also lost electricity.
