Our first Winter Weather Advisory of the season is for areas and north of Highway 54 from Monday night through Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service says minor ice accumulations will occur, but impacts are expected to be minimal.
There could be some slick spots on bridges and overpasses around Nevada and Osceola up toward Clinton and Kansas City by Tuesday morning.
In addition, some locations north and west of Springfield may experience periods of freezing rain or snow through Monday afternoon.
Little to no weather impacts are expected.
