The state health department has released a plan to vaccinate the public against the coronavirus.
The plan includes using hospitals like CoxHealth and Mercy as vaccination sites.
The state says 53-percent of the doses it receives each week would go to hospitals.
Cox expects to receive 5,700 doses every other week.
CoxHealth is grateful to be selected by the Governor as one of the integrated health systems “high throughout” vaccine sites. (So was Mercy!) We will receive 5,700 vaccines every other week starting this week. I believe hospitals will help lead our state to better vaccine rates. pic.twitter.com/KUkqCbpPAX
