An inmate from Ozark County who escaped from his work release job last week at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia is back behind bars.
Jason Laird was arrested Saturday night in Ozark County.
A task force got a tip that he was hiding out in a wooded area near Brixey.
Laird was serving time seven years in prison at Tipton Correctional Center for burglary and stealing.
