Crews say that five people were inside the home when the fire started.

Springfield firefighters worked a house fire in southeast Springfield Friday morning.
Around 6:30 am, crews were dispatched to the 2000 block of South Lone Pine Avenue.
When crews arrived on the scene, the back of the house was engulfed in flames.
Traffic on Lone Pine Avenue near the house is being detoured.
