The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a driver who hit a deputy’s car with a deputy and K-9 inside on Tuesday.
Deputy Kelsey Whitcomb was responding to a call in Springfield around 1 a.m. when a pickup truck ran a stop sign at the intersection of Kansas and Webster and hit the deputy’s car.
The pickup driver fled from the scene.
The truck was not stolen but sold years ago and had never been registered.
KY3 is reporting Deputy Whitcomb and K-9 Zeke were not injured.
