Springfield Police say a man who was shot to death last night in East Springfield has been identified.
Spencer Anderson, 34, was from Springfield.
The case is being investigated as a homicide.
Police were called to the Timberwood Apartment Complex at 2107 E. Cherry Street after getting a 911 call that someone had been shot.
Anderson was found laying in a driveway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still looking for the shooter.

On February 13, 2022, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the Timberwood Apartment Complex located at 2107 E. Cherry Street following a 911 caller stating a subject had been shot.
When officers arrived, they located a male who had suffered a gunshot wound and was laying in the driveway.
The male was pronounced deceased on scene.
The deceased male has been identified as Spencer Anderson, 34, from Springfield, Missouri. Next of kin notifications have been made to his family.
A suspect has not been identified at this time.

This incident marks Springfield’s second homicide for 2022.
