(KTTS News) — Two men drowned after a boating accident on the North Fork River west of Tecumseh.
The Highway Patrol says it happened Friday morning around 3:30 a.m.
The boat was drifting downstream when it hit a log and overturned, causing the boat to sink.
Michael Dunlap, 32, from Norwood and Robert Smith, 60, from Drury drowned.
A third man, 38-year-old Shannon Newton from Dora, swam to shore.
