(KTTS News) — Springfield Police have identified the woman who died when she was hit by an SUV.

Rebecca Cary, 24, from Odessa, Texas was walking west in the center lane in the 41-hundred block of West Chestnut Expressway.

Police are still investigating that Saturday night incident.

This is the 13th fatal motor vehicle crash in Springfield this year.
