(KTTS News) — Missouri State University has introduced its new head football coach.
Ryan Beard has been the defensive coordinator for the Bears over the past three seasons.
He takes over for Bobby Petrino, who has become the offensive coordinator for UNLV.
Beard says the football team will continue a standard of excellence in academics, community engagement and performance on the field.
