(KTTS News) — The list of daytime warming centers and overnight shelters is growing because of the cold.
Churches, nonprofits, and the city of Springfield are working together to keep people safe.

Additional crisis cold weather overnight shelters and daytime warming centers have opened as Springfield churches, local nonprofits and the City work together to provide respite from dangerous temperatures and wind chills.
Many of the shelters are full and people are sheltering in place.
