(KTTS News) — The school superintendent in Summersville is charged with assaulting a student.
Dr. Rick Stark is charged with fourth-degree assault, accused of shoving a 17-year-old student in the chest.
KY3 says the teen told police that Stark also made some hurtful remarks to him about his brother, who died in a car accident.
Court records say it happened during a basketball game at the school.
