(KTTS News) — Springfield State Senator Lincoln Hough has been named the head of the Senate Appropriations Committee, after serving as the vice-chairman.
The state budget begins in the House before it’s sent to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
The committee then sends its recommendations on to the full Senate.
After a vote, the final budget is sent to the governor for final approval.
