(KTTS News) — Nixa City Council will hold an emergency meeting Thursday to decide whether to put a 3/4-cent sales tax for law enforcement on the April ballot.
Voters turned down a one-cent sales tax in November for police and parks.
Since then, both departments have had to make cuts.
The police chief tells KY3 the department needs the money or it will be forced to reduce the calls it responds to.
