(KTTS News) — Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller has announced he’s running for Missouri Secretary of State.
Schoeller has served as county clerk since 2015.
Before that, he served in the Missouri House, where he helped pass Voter ID legislation.
Jay Ashcroft is the current Secretary of State.
Ashcroft is expected to run for governor in 2024.
