(KTTS News) — Authorities say skeletal remains found last week in Crawford County could belong to a woman who went missing more than eight years ago.
Authorities believe the body belongs to 27-year-old Amanda Caudill from St. James.
She was last seen in December 2014.
At the time, authorities said Amanda left a note and did not take her vehicle or wallet.
Skeletal remains were found on March 17 near Cook Station, south of St. James.
Along with some clothing, authorities found a cell phone and Amanda’s driver’s license.
It could still take several months to make a positive ID.
