(KTTS News) — Joplin-based Freeman Health System plans to build a new new hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Freeman plans to invest $168 million on the 170,000-square-foot, 50-bed hospital.

It’s expected to create between 500 and 1,000 new jobs.
