He hosted a number of game shows since the 50’s but will be best remember as the iconic host and producer of the game show “The Price Is Right.” He was also a noted animal rights activist closing each of his shows with the words “Help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered.”
Bob Barker was 99 when passed away peacefully his home in Los Angeles Saturday morning.
Barker hosted “The Price Is Right” for 35 years before retiring in 2007 and turning the hosting duties over the Drew Carey.
