Press Release
Cider Days is celebrating its 25th year on Historic Walnut Street September 16 & 17, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Newly presented by Phelps County Bank, the two-day fall festival will feature regional artists and crafters, live music, performances, incredible food and — of course — delicious apple cider!
Kick off fall
The 25th annual Cider Days will include a range of work from regional artists and crafters including pottery, jewelry, wood work, art prints, stickers and more! Attendees will find local favorites such as Corvus Moon Pottery, Sew Bueno Company and Kendra Lee Miller, as well as a collection of newcomers. All of which will be for sale and competing for awards.
Fall fun for the little ones
Families and patrons of all ages are encouraged to come experience the fall fun. Princesses of the 417, Artistree Pottery, Ted E. Bear Toy Factory and a face painter will have fun for the whole family. As a throwback to earlier Cider Days events, Reasons Ranch Rescue will have miniature horses at the festival for patrons to pet and even give a little hug.
Live Entertainment
Cider Days will feature two full days of live performances on three stages. Patrons can expect live music from Vic Vaughn & Souled Out, O’Neill Blues Band, Shaun Munday and more local voices. The stages will also see performances from dancers, acrobatics, theatrical performing groups, martial arts demonstrations and cloggers.
Tasty Treats
Patrons are encouraged to come to Cider Days hungry as the festival will features many delicious food vendors. Those looking for lunch will find Lae’s Egg Rolls, The Chop Shop Burger and Downtown Springfield classic Greek Belly. For those with a sweet tooth, Chuckwagon Lemonade, Wonkie Waffle, Pineapple Whip and others will have you covered. And don’t miss out on both cold and hot Apple Cider, provided by the Ozarks Empire Fair Foundation.
