(KTTS News/ Edited Press Release) – Arborists and tree care professionals from Southwest Missouri will honor America’s military by providing tree care at Springfield National Cemetery on Wednesday.

This is part of the “Saluting Branches Day of Service”, the largest volunteer event in the tree care industry organized by Saluting Branches: Arborists United for Veteran Remembrance.

They will care for thousands of trees at over 100 US Department of Veterans Affairs veterans’ cemeteries, homes, and hospitals across North America.

Volunteers at the Springfield National Cemetery site will include certified arborists and tree care experts from Nixa Utilities, All About Trees, Ryan Tree Service, Cherokee Tree Service, Four Seasons Tree Service, Busy Bee Tree Service, and Wright Tree Service, among others.

The various companies will trim and remove dead trees.
