(KTTS News) — The Willard Board of Aldermen plans to impeach the mayor at a meeting next month.
The Board named Donna Stewart city administrator while Mayor Samuel Snider was on vacation.
When Snider returned, he fired her.
Snider was censured over the incident and the Board reinstated Stewart.
Snider apologized at Monday’s city meeting, but it wasn’t enough to stop board members from announcing plans to remove him from office.
