(KTTS News) — A man who’d been free on bond in a murder case is now charged with assaulting his mother and his pregnant girlfriend.
Court records say Jacob Dejong choked his mother at a home in Billings after she hid alcohol from him.
He’s also charged with kicking his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach.
Dejong is scheduled to stand trial in April for the murder of 74-year-old Larry Woods in Springfield.
He’d been free since posting bond in 2021.
Dejong is in the Christian County Jail.
