(KTTS News) — Temperatures will rapidly drop below freezing this morning, causing wet roads to freeze quickly.
Numerous schools, including Springfield, have canceled classes today.
Light snow is expected across most of the area with wind gusts as strong as 45 miles an hour and wind chills in the single digits.
A second round of winter weather is expected on Sunday.
