(KTTS News) — The Springfield School Board has voted to close Robberson and Pershing elementary schools.
Robberson will close at the end of this school year.
Pershing will close at the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
Robberson students will go to Boyd Elementary.
Pershing students will be split up between Field and Wilder elementary schools.
The district plans to expand Pershing Middle School, renovating the old elementary school classrooms.
The renovations will begin in 2026 and should be complete in 2028.
