(KTTS News) — A man has changed his plea to guilty after stabbing a woman in the stairwell at Mercy Surgery Center in Springfield.
The woman survived the 2021 attack.
34-year-old Charles Turner had a previous relationship with the woman.
Turner was the father of the woman’s child.
He told authorities he was upset because he wasn’t being allowed to contact his child.
