(KTTS News) — A Republican from St. Louis who is running for Missouri Secretary of State has posted a video of herself burning books with a flamethrower.
Valentina Gomez says if she’s elected, she’ll burn LGBTQ-friendly books.
The Secretary of State’s Office is in charge of the state’s library system.
Gomez was seen at a Springfield library last week.
It’s unclear if the books she burned came from the Springfield library, and if they did, whether or not she’ll face any charges.
