The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Tornado Warning for Southwestern Ozark County and Southeastern Taney County until 645 PM CST.
* At 609 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Diamond City, or 14 miles northwest of Bull Shoals, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include… Bull Shoals Lake, Theodosia, Sundown, Protem, Long Run, and Isabella.
