The National Weather Service in Springfield (NWS) has issued a winter storm warning.
The warning will start 5 PM Thursday and run until 6 PM on Friday.
Counties impacted include:
- Barry
- Christian
- Douglas
- McDonald
- Ozark
- Stone
- Taney
Heavy snow is to be expected with this storm.
The NWS says that we may see total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches.
