Large Hail And Damaging Winds Late Tonight

We should be dry most of the day Wednesday, but severe thunderstorms will be rolling through the Ozarks late at night into the overnight hours.

The National Weather Service says while large hail will be the biggest threat, damaging wind gusts will be possible, and an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.

The midnight to 6 a.m. time frame could be the busiest period for organized thunderstorms.

Storms will continue Thursday morning across the eastern Ozarks, and forecasters say this activity will move out of the area by mid day.

A much cooler air mass will then filter into the area, with temps Thursday night dropping into the lower 40’s.
