Police are investigating the death of a man found inside his home in Battlefield.
A friend found his body inside the home off of Farm Road 125 south of Republic Road. Officers responded at around 4 p. m. on Monday.
Police have offered the press limited information, but have confirmed that certain details in the home caused suspicion, but that the investigation is protocol with an unattended death in the home.
Police have no record of emergency calls to the home in the past. If you have any information, please call the Greene County Sheriff’s Office or the Battlefield Police Department.
