A study is being conducted to look at future growth and plan for any improvements to safety and traffic flow along a Highway 60 corridor that goes through Republic .
The corridor is on U.S. 60/Route 413 between Route 360 west of Springfield and Main Street in Republic.
A public meeting is being held tonight for anyone wanting to know more information about the study.
That meeting is January 14, at the Republic Community Center at 711 E. Miller Road in Republic from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In that meeting, a short presentation will be given by MoDOT engineers, Republic city officials and staff from the Ozarks Transportation Organization.
