Marginal Risk For Severe Storms In The Ozarks This Afternoon And This Evening

Look for rain to be with us off and on Monday, with some stronger storms possible late in the afternoon into early evening.

The National Weather Service says a cold front will move west to east across the area, with scattered storms along the front.

A few of the strongest storms may be capable of hail to the size of pennies and damaging wind gusts across the Ozarks.

Much of southwest Missouri is under a marginal risk for severe storms Monday.

Forecasters say a warm front will lift north into the area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, with scattered storms again.

A few strong storms will be possible across far southern Missouri.

Additional isolated thunderstorms will be possible at times Thursday through the weekend, with the potential for a few strong storms.
