Many of us won’t see any storms Wednesday, but scattered severe thunderstorms may develop over the eastern Ozarks by early evening.
Golf ball to tennis ball size hail will be possible, especially east of Highway 5, along with a risk for damaging winds.
The National Weather Service says the tornado risk is very low.
The storms will move through mainly between 5 and 11 p.m.
After near record-breaking highs in the upper 80’s Wednesday, much cooler weather is expected Thursday into the weekend, with a frost/freeze potential Friday morning.
