People looking for jobs can attend a drive-thru job fair Thursday April 29 at the Missouri Job Center in Springfield on East Sunshine.
The event will be in the parking lot from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
20 employers are expected to be in attendance for the unusual style hiring event.
People going are encouraged to bring a resume with them.

The Missouri Job Center in Springfield is hosting a Drive Thru Job Fair on Thursday, April 29, from 9:30- 11:30 am in the parking lot of the Missouri Job Center, 2900 E. Sunshine.
Twenty area employers will be onsite to talk to job seekers about employment opportunities from the comfort and safety of their cars.
Participating employers include 3M, Arc of the Ozarks, Atrium Hospitality, Bug Zero, Cintas, Citizens Memorial Hospital, Glanbia, Gold Mountain Communications, Jordan Valley Healthcare, Lowe’s, MasterCorp, MediaCom, Mid-Am Metal, Missouri Prime Beef Packers, Nothum, Oasis Hotel & Convention Center, Red Monkey Foods, Springfield Public Schools, Truck Hero/Undercover and TTEC.
Job seekers should bring copies of their resume and avoid having non-job seekers and/or pets in the car as they may be a distraction.
