Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr. Pepper Bottling Company is opening a new 432,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Springfield.
The building is connected to the main facility by conveyor belt over Jordan Creek.
Marketing Director Sally Hargis says the company began work on expanding production in 2019, and ended up expanding its warehouse.
The project has created about 30 jobs.
Hargis says the company is using a conveyor belt system to leave Jordan Creek, which runs through its property, undisturbed.
Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr. Pepper is holding a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting for its workers this weekend, celebrating its 101st anniversary in Springfield.
