The new Greene County Jail is scheduled to open next April, but it still has a lot of job openings.
The sheriff’s office needs to fill more than 150 positions between now and the time it opens.
There are 70 vacancies at the current jail.
The jail needs to hire 25 people next month, and fill almost 60 jobs next year.
