Greg grew up in Kansas City, MO and attended college in Rolla, MO. He got his radio start while in Rolla and Salem, MO both on air and in broadcast engineering. He also worked in Lufkin, TX as a radio Chief Engineer and on air. He moved back to Kansas City and started in television as a Broadcast Engineer. While working in KC television he worked part time on air at a top rated country station for 16 years. He moved to Dallas and worked at a network owned TV station. He spent 38 years in television, 34 of those years as a satellite uplink truck engineer covering major national news events for the station and network news. Greg moved from Dallas in 2021 to the rural countryside in the Ozarks near Crane, MO.
Now retired from television Greg enjoys doing projects around the house, going to concerts, shows and everything outdoors. He likes meeting people and making new friends. He is an animal lover and has a crew of cats and a dog. He is both a fan of the KC Chiefs as well as the Dallas Cowboys having covered both teams while working in television. He loves roller coasters including the ones at Silver Dollar City. He is also a licensed Amateur (Ham) Radio operator.
