(KTTS News) — People in Republic and Billings are mourning the deaths of two teenagers killed in a crash over the weekend.
16-year-old Maverick Beaman from Republic was driving the car that crashed east of Republic Saturday night.
KY3 says Beaman worked at Popeyes in Republic.
15-year-old Wyatt Barnes, a former Republic student who moved to Billings, was riding in the backseat.
He was also killed.
Two other teens were hurt, but are expected to recover.
The Highway Patrol says it looks like Beaman was going too fast when his car ran off the road and hit a tree.
